No scam, they give you a free score, they are powered by transunion, I also use truecredit.com, also powered by transunion. same scores. Creditkarma has lots of ads on it for refinancing, new credit cards, etc, Im sure that's how they make their money. Just like other free sites, advertising pays the bills. Ive paid for identityguard.com services, they only update scores once every quarter and the scores aren't even close to my real scores! Ive used creditkarma for a few years now.
